Fully Automated Contact Angle Meter: DMo-902, DMo-702, DMo-602, DMo-502
Modular, High-Precision Systems for Advanced Wettability & Surface Free Energy Analysis
The DMo series contact angle meters (DMo-902, DMo-702, DMo-602, DMo-502) are modular, research-grade surface analysis systems designed for accurate measurement of static and dynamic contact angles, surface free energy, and – with optional modules – surface and interfacial tension.
All models share the same optical measurement principle, high-speed imaging, and FAMAS image analysis software. The primary difference between models is the level of automation for droplet dispensing, positioning, and stage movement, allowing users to select the optimal balance between throughput, flexibility, and budget.
Key Features:

High-Quality Optical System
• Precision optics optimized for sharp droplet edge detection
• Stable illumination for high contrast between droplet and background
• Enables reliable measurements across hydrophilic to super-hydrophobic surfaces
This ensures consistent and reproducible contact angle data, even on low-contrast or treated surfaces.

Multiple Contact Angle Calculation Methods
The DMo series supports a comprehensive range of analysis models:
• θ/2 (height–width method)
• Tangent method
• Ellipse fitting
• Circle fitting
Users can select the most appropriate method depending on surface roughness, droplet shape, or wettability range.

Time-Dependent Contact Angle Measurement
• Measures contact angle as a function of time
• Enables evaluation of wetting kinetics, spreading, absorption, and surface aging
• Particularly useful for porous materials, coatings, membranes, and treated polymers
