The Lovibond PFXi-880, PFXi-950 and PFXi-995 Series are high-performance automatic transmission spectrophotometric colorimeters designed to deliver objective, repeatable and traceable colour measurement for optically clear liquids across a wide range of industries.
The PFXi-880/950/995 Series measures colour by analysing light transmitted through a liquid sample using a precision optical system with interference filters covering 420–710 nm. This spectrophotometric approach ensures unbiased colour results, independent of operator, lighting conditions or environmental influences, and supports both traditional industry colour scales and CIE colour values.
A long path-length sample chamber (up to 153 mm / 6”) enables accurate measurement of very light or weakly coloured samples, as well as colour scales defined by extended optical path lengths, such as Lovibond® RYBN and AOCS Tintometer®
