The Lovibond® Model Fx is a laboratory automatic transmission spectrophotometer specifically optimised for accurate colour measurement of edible oils and fats. Designed to eliminate errors caused by temperature variation and sample crystallisation, the Model Fx delivers reliable, repeatable and standards-compliant colour results for quality control and production environments.
It measures colour by analysing light transmitted through a liquid sample across the visible spectrum, providing objective, non-subjective colour data independent of operator or ambient lighting conditions. The integrated sample cell heater maintains a consistent sample temperature during measurement, preventing turbidity and crystallisation that can lead to inaccurate readings in edible oil analysis.
