Peel Tester – VPA Series

Precision Peel Testing for Adhesives, Films & Advanced Materials

Peel testers are specialized materials-testing instruments designed to quantitatively evaluate adhesive strength, peel force, and peeling behavior between bonded materials in compliance with international standards such as ISO 8510-1 and ISO 8510-2. They are essential tools for industries where pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA), films, coatings, laminates, and functional layers play a critical role – such as electronics, packaging, automotive, batteries, displays, medical devices, and advanced materials research.

The Versatile Peel Analyzer (VPA) series is built around a patented Flat Plate Cross Stage Method, which fundamentally improves how peel tests are performed and the only horizontal peel testers capable of performing accurate peel tests at any angle from 0° to 180° while maintaining a constant, well-defined peel rate.

Key Features & Benefits:

True Multi-Angle Peel Testing (0°–180°)

True Multi-Angle Peel Testing (0°–180°)

Test adhesive behavior under real application conditions without complex calculations or mechanical adjustments

Constant & Accurate Peel Rate

Constant & Accurate Peel Rate

The peel rate is independent of peel angle, ensuring high data reproducibility and reliable comparison across tests

High-Sensitivity Force Measurement

High-Sensitivity Force Measurement

Interchangeable load cells from 0.1 N to 100 N, with force resolution down to 0.001 N, enable accurate testing of both ultra-weak and strong adhesive bonds

Wide Speed & Application Range

Wide Speed & Application Range

Peel rates from 3 to 30,000 mm/min (model dependent). Suitable for slow, quasi-static tests and high-speed peel behavior studies

High-Throughput & Easy Operation

High-Throughput & Easy Operation

Peel angles can be changed instantly by rotating the stage, dramatically reducing setup time and increasing test throughput

Advanced Analysis Software

Advanced Analysis Software

Analyze peel force as a function of peel distance, peel angle and peel rate. This allows in-depth evaluation of adhesive performance under varying conditions.
